Experience:

Mr. Tooley specializes in complex civil litigation, including arbitrations, trials and appeals.  Mr. Tooley has experience litigating and arbitrating a wide range of contract disputes and business torts involving real property, mineral rights, corporate law, construction claims, employment, insurance coverage, professional malpractice, trade secrets, Federal, state and Indian oil and gas royalty audits, and commercial transactions.  He lectures in continuing education and is the co-author of “The Marketable Product Approach in the Natural Gas Royalty Case,” 44 Rocky Mt. Min. L. Inst. 21-1 (1998).  Mr. Tooley served as an Adjunct Professor of Oil and Gas Law at the University of Denver Law School. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors (2001-2007) and as the Secretary for Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States (2001-2005). He was designated as a Colorado Super Lawyer by 5280 Magazine for Civil Litigation Defense and a member of the Natural Resources Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
