Overview
Kate joined Welborn after obtaining her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Her practice focuses on corporate and real estate law. Kate works on various corporate and real estate matters including entity formation and dissolution, joint venture deals in the real estate industry, real estate due diligence, and other general business transactions. She assists clients with real estate acquisitions and associated title, lending, and development issues. Kate’s prior experience includes conducting mineral title examinations, as well as assisting in the drafting and updating of title opinions. She has previously worked with clients on permitting issues and environmental compliance matters. Kate also has experience conducting due diligence for oil and gas and mining transactions and assisting with acquisitions and divestitures in the energy industry.
Kate was born and raised in Arizona. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
