Mr. Tolley's practice initially focused on the preparation of title opinions covering lands in Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota.  As his practice has grown Mr. Tolley has expanded his practice to include estate planning and civil litigation.

Representative Matters

  • Authored title opinions covering fee, state and federal lands in Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota
  • Authored leasehold acquisition title opinions for a purchase of oil and gas assets in Colorado and Utah
  • Represented heirs with ancillary probate matters concerning mineral interests located in Wyoming
  • Advised property owner regarding boundary dispute with neighboring property owners
  • Prepared estate planning documents including wills, trusts and related estate planning documents
  • Represented corporate clients and government associations in both Wyoming State and Federal Courts.

  • Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society
  • Admitted to practice before all district courts in Wyoming and the Wyoming Supreme Court

Mr. Tolley was born and raised in the small oilfield town of Rangely, Colorado. He is a Boettcher Scholar and was a four-year varsity letterman in football at Colorado College. During the summers, he worked as a heavy-equipment operator for an oil and gas well-servicing company. Mr. Tolley enjoys the mountains and counts the summits of the Grand Teton and Mt. Rainier as among his favorites. Mr. Tolley and his wife, Larissa, have three children and enjoy exploring the West's varied and magnificent outdoors.
