Overview
Kristen practices as a transactional and tax attorney. As part of her transactional practice, Kristen advises companies in all stages of the business life cycle including on choice of entity and funding matters, growth strategies, equity incentive plans and exit strategies. Also in her transactional practice, Kristen represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity capital raises and complex income tax planning, including tax-free reorganizations.
Exit strategies for some of her corporate clients include implementing succession plans to transfer ownership to the next generation, which dovetails nicely into Kristen’s practice in advising high net worth individuals in their estate plans. Kristen provides creative estate planning solutions to individuals planning for the next generation of business leaders, including the preparation of wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, premarital agreements, and the creation of charitable organizations.
