Allison MacKinnon represents clients in all aspects of oil and gas exploration and development, including acquisitions and divestitures, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements related to the day to day operations of energy companies, and mineral title examination.  She has substantial experience assisting clients with due diligence projects and has advised clients on a wide variety of business transactions.  Ms. MacKinnon also has experience with the acquisition and development of commercial real estate.

Ms. MacKinnon was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.  She attended the University of Wisconsin, graduating with a B.A. in Legal Studies in 2007.  While at Wisconsin, she was a captain of the women’s soccer team, was named Academic All-Big Ten and received the Student-Athlete Excellence award for excellence on and off the field of competition.  In 2011, Ms. MacKinnon graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.  Upon graduation, she began her career as an associate with a well-respected oil and gas boutique law firm in Denver, Colorado.
